Robins unhappy with second half

Sun 30 Sep, 03:30 PM

Rotherham boss Mark Robins bemoaned his side's second-half performance as they were beaten 2-0 by Barnet at Underhill. After a goalless opening 45 minutes, Adam Birchall and Jason Puncheon grabbed the goals for Barnet to condemn the Millers to their first away defeat of the season.

"We decided not to turn up for the second half, it was extremely disappointing," said Robins.

"Now it's back to the drawing board and we have a game on Tuesday. We had a good following down here from Rotherham and in the first half we were creating good chances.

"In the second half we didn't get near anybody. The defending for the first goal was poor, there's no getting away from it.

"I thought we could come here and play but we got pulled around a lot. We've got to be better with people wanting to do the ugly things in the game," he added.
