Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will play in next year's World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam, according to tournament director Richard Krajicek.

Oh Rafa why?. I think he should skip Rotterdam newxt year. He played too many events this year and we all know what happened don't we. Rafa needs to stop punishing himself like this. He will be exhausted after Oz open. My feeling is that he want's that number one back. Forget it Rafa, it only brought you bad luck!
to those interested, read 11,then 12,been plagued by invalid comment and tried to rewrite it keeping some general sense, sorry to bore
Now,The Master survives, and the heroe is tired. It's gonna take Nadal more than just fresh knees to once more overcome whoever dares stake a claim on the Master's grounds, be it the Master himself,or some other giant whose height and destructive power takes awesomeness to new territories,as yet untouched by human comprehension.
If some, tired of repeats and same faces, are on the lookout for a new Divinitennis, consider this : If Thor had a hammer wielding descendant, it might be an Argentine you're searching for.
As for me,i'll stick to my man,got the feeling he still have some pages to write, and hopefully,Nadal will be in it.
This Mallorcan is an epi@#$%o himself,a titan, and that's what it took to beat someone who's one of the top masters of all time,at his peak, and replace him at the number One spot, beating the master in 3 GS finals in a row.Nadal ought to receive bravoury medals ,usually reserved for incredible feats on the battlefield.
just playing devil's advocate here, perhaps Nadal is playing Rotterdam to gauge his injury. I'm not sure how many of the top guys are playing, but maybe he feels he needs to test himself. Hopefully that's what it is and not a return to the play everything mode of Uncle Tony. Totally in agreement that he should restrict his playing, otherwise as pjcogs says he will be carried off, and be a great loss to tennis.
CERO:... Well, well..., finally you guys get it. I've had so many thumbs down for suggesting that Nadal must change more than his racquet if he intends to prevail in tennis again. I got responses such as, "pjcogs: it's very difficult for a pro to change his tennis style.. ." ...Barf !!!!...... iT'S VERY DIFFICULT FOR A PRO TO PLAY WITH KNEE REPLACEMENTS, If he doesn't get the picture soon and change his schedule and his all-out bloody style of beating up his body, Nadal won't just fade away....he'll be carried away on a stretcher. I love the young man as most people do. But, REALLY!!!..What's it gonna take for Nadal and Uncle Tony to get the message? Sorry for the drama, but I always go dramatic to cover my fear for someone else.
GUYS GIVE HIM A BREAK !!! THE POOR GUY HAS JUST CONFIRMED IT JUST THE WAY FED CONFIRMED FOR TOKYO BUT HE WIDREW THE MOMENT HE FELT HE NEEDED REST.. M SURE RAFA WOULD SEE HOW HE FEELS WHEN HE NEARS THE TOURNAMENT N THEN DECIDE WHETHER TO GO WITH IT OR NOT. N GUYS SECONDLY HE CANT BE LIKE FED I MEAN FED STARTED JUST CONCERNTRATING ON SLAMS WHEN HE REACHED 27. RAFA IS JUST 23 TOO YOUNG TO JUST THINK OF SLAMS . ITS JUST NOT ALL ABOUT SLAMS M SURE HE HAS OTHER TARGETS IN HIS MIND TOO
Nadal, you moron!!!!! You said you'll revise your schedule and concentrate on Slams and big events only!!!! Have you forgotten all that? You never learn from your mistakes! Everyone deserves what's happening to him, you - too.
Its great Rafa comes to Rotterdam. I'm from the netherlands so this is zo awesome!!
How many days are left? I can't wait!
well, the guy is not learning from his mistakes, that's all I'm gonna say.He should skip Rotterdam and play in Dubai with some rest.
Totally agree with u cero..what's the need of taking part in such small & unimportant tournaments? Rotterdam, Rome, indian wells, Barcelona, Madrid etc that's where he got into trouble this year.
why the hell is Rafa playing in Rotterdam again? It's too early after Melbourne,I thought he would schedule himself better after all of the sh** happened to him this year. Hasn't he learnt anything from this year????? stupid Rafa.
me 2
i'm looking forward to watching it. Hope Nadal wins :D
