Chopra earns Jones praise

Cardiff manager Dave Jones paid tribute to Michael Chopra after the striker scored four goals in the Bluebirds' 6-1 demolition of Derby.

Chopra struck in the 36th, 57th, 62nd and 74th minutes to add to efforts from Peter Whittingham (10) and Chris Burke (63).

"Chopra's movement and finishing was top class and he showed us all what a good player he is," said a delighted Jones.

"We had a lot of the ball and used it well but results like that don't come very often and we have to enjoy it while we can.

"Stephen McPhail came back into the side and was instrumental in at least three of the goals.

"When the team play like this they are superb but sometimes they switch off and perhaps that is why they are in this division."
