Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins will hope to have striker Gary Hooper back in his starting line-up for the visit of in-form Swansea.
The six-goal forward has been struggling with an ankle injury and missed last weekend's defeat at Peterborough as a result.
He was restricted to a substitute appearance against Manchester City on Wednesday as he stepped up his recovery, but Adkins is hopeful he will be able to play a bigger part against the Swans.
Should Hooper fail to shake off his injury, then Jonathan Forte can again expect to lead the line after scoring in the 5-1 defeat at Eastlands.
Adkins withdrew midfield duo Grant McCann and Michael O'Connor against City, but both will be fine to play, while there is a doubt over defender Rob Jones (back), so Niall Canavan prepares to deputise.
