Robson relishing Parkhead clash

Barry Robson is relishing another home clash this weekend despite Celtic's poor Parkhead record this season and the growing frustration among their supporters.

The Hoops have now won just two matches in nine attempts at home, with 'fortress Parkhead' now in danger of losing its formidable reputation. Next up is Kilmarnock in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and Robson claims he has no problem facing the Ayrshire club in front of their own fans.

"I'll play at home or away," he said. "It makes no difference to me. It's great to play in front our your own fans and the more of them there to watch and cheer you on, the better."

Celtic follow up the domestic action with a trip to Hamburg where they face the task of salvaging a disappointing Europa League campaign.

"The more games the better - that's what we are all looking for," said Robson.

"Hopefully we can start by scoring a few goals on Saturday because we know Kilmarnock are playing well.

"They are a decent outfit and they will make it hard for us. But we've got a good side that can break teams down and it's just a matter of time before we do."
