Gretar Steinsson is intent on keeping his place in the Bolton side after making his first start of the Barclays Premier League season on Saturday.
Steinsson displaced Sam Ricketts at right-back for the 1-1 draw at Fulham.
"If I can keep my place in the team I will try to get the rhythm and do really well," Iceland international Steinsson told the club`s official website.
"I have great belief in myself and my ability. I really want to play for this club and get results for Bolton."
Wanderers appeared on course for a much-needed win at Craven Cottage, only for Damien Duff to level late on.
"We are really good at defending our box," said a disappointed Steinsson. "Standing on the edge of the box, it's really difficult to get through us."

I agree~ It is good for Bolton if he retook the starting XI
Steinsson is an amazing player, much better than Ricketts.
