Corr delighted with Robins strikes

Sun 30 Dec, 04:30 PM

Swindon striker Barry Corr rated the first of his two goals in the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth among the best of his football career.Corr, who had scored in Swindon's two previous wins over Hartlepool and Yeovil, lit the fuse on a terrific second half by scoring a gem three minutes after the break - a 25-yard curling shot into the top right hand corner.

"I honestly can't remember too many better goals than that, but it was such a pity we didn't go on and build on that advantage," he said.

The tall striker opened Swindon's account three minutes after the break and then salvaged a point for the visitors for the late equaliser after Jo Kuffour and Sam Vokes had given the home side a 2-1 lead.
