Hull boss Phil Brown is waiting on the fitness of Ian Ashbee ahead of the KC Stadium clash with Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
Ashbee limped out of the latter stages of the 2-0 win with Wolves on Boxing Day with an unspecified knock and is the only fresh injury concern for the Tigers.
Brown has so far masterminded a return of seven points from a possible nine over the festive period and could deploy the same starting line-up for the third game running if Ashbee is passed fit.
Striker Dean Windass is battling to be recalled if Brown opts to rest either Caleb Folan or Fraizer Campbell while Nick Barmby will be looking to be involved again.
Wade Small and Steve Watson are both doubtful for Sheffield Wednesday.
The midfield pair were both forced out of the action in the Boxing Day draw with Burnley after sustaining hamstring injuries.
Yoann Folly and Etienne Esajas were their replacements at Turf Moor, but Kenny Lunt gives Brian Laws another option.
Jermaine Johnson missed out on Boxing Day due to a gashed foot, but he too could return to the reckoning.
Deon Burton, who has just returned from a long-term knee injury to score his 100th career goal at Burnley, is expected to partner Marcus Tudgay up front.
Defender Frank Simek, striker Francis Jeffers (both ankle) and defender Richard Wood (shoulder) remain sidelined.
