League Two strugglers Bury have signed teenage midfielder Elliott Bennett on a month's loan from Championship outfit Wolves.Elliott, a right-sided player, has been at Molineux since the age of nine and enjoyed a loan spell at Crewe earlier this season.

The 19-year-old started four games, with another appearance from the bench, and he also got on the scoresheet with a goal against Port Vale.

Shakers caretaker manager Chris Brass said: "Elliott is very effective and plays in a similar mould to Lewis Gobern.

"He will add something to the squad, plus he has had league experience with Crewe and Wolves."
