Notts County have extended Ali Gibb's loan spell from Hartlepool United until the end of the season.The 31-year-old, who was one of several players to be transfer-listed by Pools last week, moved to Meadow Lane on an initial month-long deal at the start of January.

He told the club's official website: "I am pleased to be staying at Notts County. I have enjoyed playing a few games and hopefully between now and the end of the season I can play a few more.

"I have enjoyed life here and I have been made to feel welcome."
