Gibbs completes Canaries loan move

Promising Arsenal midfielder Kieran Gibbs has joined Norwich on a two-month loan deal.The 18-year-old made two first-team appearances for the Gunners in their Carling Cup run this season after signing a professional contract at Emirates Stadium in September 2007 and has scored nine times in 23 appearance for the Under-18's.

Arsenal have inserted a clause in his deal allowing them to recall the youngster with 24 hours notice after the first month of his stay.

Gibbs is set to join up with the England Under-19 squad next Tuesday to face Croatia at Swindon alongside fellow Norwich loanees James Henry and Ryan Bertrand.

Boss Glenn Roeder has made Gibbs, who can play on the left or in the centre of midfield, his fourth loan signing in 24 hours.
