Darlington have signed Polish Under-21 goalkeeper Przemyslaw Kazimierczak from Bolton on a free transfer. The 19-year-old has agreed an 18-month contract with the Quakers and will provide much-needed cover for the injured Andy Oakes.
Oakes has been told he needs an operation on his shoulder and will be out for the rest of the season.
Kazimierczak has had loan spells at Accrington and Wycombe since joining Wanderers from Polish club LKS Lodz in 2004.
Head goalkeeping coach Andy Collett told Darlington's official website: "I have been impressed with Przemyslaw and believe he has the potential to become a very good goalkeeper.
"This signing once again demonstrates the commitment to strengthening the playing staff and investing in young players. It is vitally important to have not only strength in depth, but also quality throughout the squad."
