Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Hull City midfielder Stuart Elliott on loan until the end of the season.The 29-year-old Northern Ireland international, who will be available for Rovers' weekend clash at Millwall, is hoping to make the switch to the Keepmoat Stadium permanent.

Elliott, capped 36 times by his country, played a key role in Hull's promotion from League One in 2005, but has made only 11 appearances under Tigers manager Phil Brown this season.

He spent five years at the KC Stadium after joining them from Motherwell in the summer of 2002.
