Sheffield United have signed Brighton striker Will Hoskins on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old, who only signed for Albion in the summer for an undisclosed fee from Bristol Rovers, could make his debut at Colchester on Saturday.
Hoskins scored on his Brighton debut against Cardiff, but has since made only eight more appearances having fallen down the pecking order at the Amex Stadium following Sam Vokes' arrival from Wolves and he has dropped a division to help the Blades' promotion push.
The Nottingham-born forward began his career at Rotherham before moving on to Watford, then in the Premier League, in January 2007. He scored 20 goals in 44 appearances for Bristol Rovers last season.
