Leon Barnett could make an early return for West Brom in their Championship clash against fellow FA Cup semi-finalists Cardiff at Ninian Park.Barnett has missed the last two matches with a hamstring problem that was expected to rule him out for around three weeks.
However, the defender has responded well to treatment and is in contention just 14 days after suffering the injury.
Barnett could go straight into the starting XI if deemed fit enough after Baggies boss Tony Mowbray criticised his side's defending in the 4-3 victory over Colchester on Saturday.
Neil Clement is a more likely defensive change and could start following his return from a loan spell at Hull. Clement replaced Bostjan Cesar at half-time against Colchester.
On-loan striker Luke Moore completes a three-match suspension but the Aston Villa player will not be eligible for the FA Cup semi-final against Portsmouth at the weekend as he is cup-tied.
