Colin Hawkins believes he has seen enough since joining Chesterfield on loan to suggest that the club can clinch promotion via the play-offs.The 30-year-old defender moved to Saltergate from Coventry for the remainder of the season on Thursday and made his full debut for Lee Richardson's side in the 3-0 victory at Dagenham.
Hawkins, who has been told his contract at Coventry will not be renewed when it expires in the summer, told the club's official website: "The lads can definitely play football. With five games left I can't see any reason why we can't win all five.
"I only met up with the lads on Friday and I am delighted at having the chance to help this club on to promotion via the play-offs."
