Enoch Showunmi has returned to Bristol City after turning down the chance to extend his loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday by a third month.The giant Nigerian, 25, who is out of contract in the summer, played 10 times for the Owls after joining Brian Laws' side at the end of January.

After being used as a substitute in recent weeks, Showunmi has opted to return to City rather than remain at Hillsborough.

"Enoch has decided to come back and he returns to us with some games under his belt," Robins boss Gary Johnson told the club's official website.
