Rangers midfielder Kevin Thomson has been passed fit for Thursday's UEFA Cup quarter-final first leg at home to Sporting Lisbon.Thomson scored the winning goal against Celtic in Saturday's SPL game at Ibrox, before leaving the field on a stretcher with a left leg injury.
However Rangers have confirmed the 23-year-old will be ready for the European first-leg game in Glasgow against the Portuguese giants.
Thomson will miss the next Old Firm game though after a booking against Celtic triggered a two-game suspension.
Rangers, who currently have a six-point advantage over Celtic, and a game in hand, go to Parkhead on April 16.
