New Bradford recruit Chris Brandon admits that the chance to play for his hometown club will see him fulfil a childhood dream.Brandon signed a two-year deal with the Bantams this week after leaving rivals Huddersfield and cannot wait to play under Stuart McCall.

He told the Telegraph & Argus: "It's weird because you should always stay at the highest level you can for as long as possible.

"But while I'm dropping down a division everything feels right.

"There were a few League one clubs that were interested but as soon as Bradford came in, that was it.

"To bring some success here would be a dream for me. It's a childhood dream to play for your hometown club and I used to idolise players like Stuart so to get the chance to play under him is a massive buzz."
