Northampton boss Stuart Gray has urged his side to "make Sixfields a fortress again".

The Cobblers were relegated from League One this term, having won just eight of their 23 home league games, and Gray is targeting a better home record next season.

"It's going to be a learning curve for me going to some of the grounds next season but I think Sammo [coach Ian Sampson] will have sampled some of that before and I'm sure some of the players will have as well," Gray told the club's website.

"When we go to these teams we have got to respect them and do a professional job but the most important thing is for us to make Sixfields a fortress again.

"Whatever league you are playing in you need fighters and whether it is in the Champions League or in League Two you have got to have players that show that little bit of desire."
