Leeds United boss Gary McAllister is expecting teenager Fabian Delph to force his way into the first team at Elland Road next season. The England Under-19 international, who made his Leeds debut aged 16 at Derby last year, has featured in central midfield in the last two pre-season friendlies.
McAllister said: "When I first arrived both Fabian and Jonny Howson caught the eye.
"If we'd have hit the play-offs a little earlier last season we may have seen a little more of him then.
"This could be his season though. He has a lovely poise and feel for the game. He did well against Barnet last Saturday and it's certainly given me food for thought."
