Carlisle United midfielder Cleveland Taylor admits improving his goalscoring record is a main priority for him this season. The 24-year-old playmaker was a £50,000 signing from Scunthorpe in January but failed to open his account in 14 games for the Cumbrians.
And, after some impressive displays during pre-season, Taylor is determined to become a potent goalscoring threat this campaign.
"I want to be getting on the scoresheet," Taylor told the club's official website. "I've had a few efforts recently and hopefully they'll start going in.
"However, my job is to provide a bit of thought and to add something different when we go forward.
"I'd definitely like to score a few goals for the team and I'll be trying to do that if the chances come along."
