MK Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo insisted his focus was on the team performance despite seeing Keith Andrews return with a goal against Watford.Skipper Andrews capped his first appearance since being placed on the transfer list with a thunderous 30-yard drive as Di Matteo's men saw off the Hornets 2-1, but the Italian was delighted with his side's efforts.
He said: "He's a quality player and he's settling down now. For his first 90 minutes of pre-season he did very well.
"It was a very good goal, a great goal. He's a good player but it's about the team performance, not individuals.
"We said we would build on the team and help move them on from last season and I think we can start to do that now."
