Scunthorpe defender Kenny Milne is confident he will be fully fit in time for the Iron's opening-day League One clash with Leeds. The Scottish centre-half has been working on his fitness since joining the club from Falkirk this summer, and he is pleased with his progress.
"I've still got a wee bit to go in terms of getting match fit," Milne told the club's official website.
"I missed a bit of last season with a knee injury, and I also had an operation at the end of last year, but hopefully by the time the Leeds game comes around I will be spot on.
"I can't wait for the season to get started. We've got a massive game against Leeds and it's a great way to start."
