Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson believes his latest signings have completed a squad capable of gaining promotion at the first attempt.Ferguson added midfielder Paul Coutts and winger Shaun Batt to his squad on Monday and believes they will add more options to his side.
He said: "We have the same ambition as last season which is to get out of this league. There's not a massive difference in quality from League Two and I am happy with the squad I've got now.
"Paul was being chased by a lot of clubs both down here and north of the border.
"We got him down last April to have a look at him and he will only get better. He's only been playing part-time so once he gets a bit more physique on him he will be an excellent signing for us.
"Shaun gives us something we haven't got in out and out pace in wide areas. He is raw, the boy, but it is something for us to work on and it's something I've wanted in the squad for some time."
