Hull boss Phil Brown has admitted he is not confident of re-signing Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell.
The 20-year-old scored 15 goals during a loan spell for the Tigers last season to help fire them to promotion from the Championship and Brown is eager to re-sign him either on a permanent or loan basis.
Earlier in July he was confident of securing Campbell ahead of Hull's top-flight campaign, but he has yet to hear from United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
He told the Daily Express: "Sir Alex has his business to do and until he conducts that I'm presuming Fraizer will be a United player this season.
"We'll have to wait and see."

Yes better to loan him back to city, that way Man U can see if hes any good against top defenders while still keeping him on their books if not they can then sell him
Cyn United be that short? Or are they jusr afraid? Bayern Munich use the same methods!
If Fraizer Campbell has any influence on this situation (if thats possible with Fergie that is ) he would be wise to ask for a season long loan to the Tigers. Why? What would you choose? Reserves or at best permanently "on the bench" at Man United or virtually guaranteed first team football in the Premier League with Hull City with an opportunity to show how good you are. If Man United need him in an emergency then he can be recalled! Complete no brainer even for a footballer. Whadya say
Good player but United are short up front if Saha is not replaced.
