Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedy sent a message to Real Madrid to promise that he will tell Manchester United his transfer to Spain is "non-negotiable".
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Ronaldo's exact message to Madrid was as follows: "It's OK. Next week, I'll fix everything. I'll go to Manchester and tell them my only desire is to play for Real Madrid and that the decision is non-negotiable."
Sir Alex Ferguson has publicly stated Ronaldo will not be leaving United but he could be put in a very difficult position if Ronaldo returns to Manchester demanding a transfer.
AS claims Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes was under strict instructions to tell Real his client remains determined to join them.
Reports suggest next Tuesday is the day that Ronaldo will return and confront Ferguson.

@#$% the oily little @#$% . from a man u fan , for 30 years
If he doesnt want to play for Utd , let him go, why should the fans and the club put up with this attitude ,Play or go simple as , We made you , you are welcome to break yourself , your life ,your career ,GET ON WITH IT . dont drag our club "NOT YOURS" through this debacle any longer.
star will come and go who cares he is not the first !!!
There is only one thing I hate about Ronaldo, and thats his attitude. He is one of the most talented footballers I have ever seen, but I would be glad to see him leave the premiership because of his attitude. 2 points stick out in my mind that make me say this. The first was during the world cup when he helped towards the Rooney sending off... OK, many players would also have joined in that, but that wink after said it all, he knew what he was doing... secondly I saw him play in the premiership last year, I think against Liverpool, and he went down on a number of occasions (again as a lot of footballers do) but his attitude of not playing to the whistle and then being amazed on the odd occasion where the ref plays on... that really stinks to me. Its like he's trying to make the refs mind up for them.
Great footballer, worst attitude ever, apart from maybe J. Barton ;)
I'm not a Man U supporter, but SAF is one of the best managers of all time, trust in his judgement and I'm sure Man U wont even notice his departure that much... Same as when Beckham left. Just be glad this is happening while SAF is still around to sort it out!!!
In the past, when Ronaldo has been either a) injured, or b) suspended for the occasional petulant headbutt, Manchester United have managed without him.
They managed before he arrived and will manage once he leaves, whenever that may be.
It's my opinion that he should be sold, if that's truly what he wants, but I think it should be for a vast sum of money. I also think that Manchester United should sue Ronaldo for breach of contract, especially since he not long ago was "very happy" to sign a 5 year contract with United.
If he goes, as I think he will, I think Robinho or Huntlejaar would be very good replacements, as well as Berbatov up front.
Nani is not impressing me yet, he's far too immature for my liking. Maybe time will tell, but he's not anywhere near ready to take Ronaldos place.
United will miss Ronaldo, no doubt, but they'll manage.
don't be angry u all.this is normal in the world.people are wish to live in good place, not in the hell with RED DEVIL
get rid of him if he wants to go man u are bigger than that boy , look at beckham loads of money great but try to tell us the USA leagus is great , beckham is gone and ronaldo can go also ,man u the best club in the world
united should sell ronaldo as he wants 2 play for a diffrent team which is lower class manchester united made ronaldo leave him go bring in huntlaar and ramos also i think tottenham should sell united berbatov
Maybe SA should sell CR for Ramos and Robinho + a few quid lol. Is it just me or does Ronaldo seem a bit overpriced if hes the same as Ramos and Robinho.
Sorry, I know we are all in Europe but there is our Europe and UEFA's Europe.
As a Liverpool fan, I feel that the Christiano Ronaldo "will he - won't he? " saga is nearly as funny as the Gareth Barry "Will he - Can he ?" nonsense. I hate to say it but Fergie has done it all before with Cantona, Kanchelskis?,Ince,Hughes etc, etc. The whole Man Utd thing that works is team work with individual brillance and if either is not playing their part then trust Ferguson. If Ronaldo goes(and I think he will), then it will be with Ferguson having a backup plan that is probably better if not at lest as good. You can take the boy out of Europe but you can't take Europe out of the boy.
PLEASE LET HIM GO
WE ARE TALKING ABOUT TEAM WORK HERE
DON'T THINK WE CAN GET IT FROM HIM ANY MORE.
WE CAN SURVIVE WITH OUT RONALDO THE FOOL
Remember, this is AS we're talking about. Them and that Marcia are used as mouthpieces for Real's board.
I think it'd be in Utd's best interests to sell him, but the fact that Ronaldo wants to move may push his price down. If Utd want to get rid of him, they'll have to accept whatever people will pay. Otherwise his contract will run down and his price'll drop regardless. It's unfortunate, but I don't think he'll be accepted back into the Utd dressing room, even if he didn't make any of these comments.
In all fairness, I support Newcastle, so one less good player for you lot can only be a good thing come first day of the new season :o)
Not sure what it means? But probably looks better in crayon!!
Yes of course man utd will survive without Ronaldo, but it won't be the same for a while. Remember when Beckham was sold, man utd was'nt the same for a season or so. If this story is true that Ronaldo wants to leave, then let him go. 70-100 million is a lot of money, even if he does not want to leave. To be honest, if i owned man utd, think i would seriously think of selling him for that sort of money.
Hey D R your blowing ?hit out of your @#$%..pool = hasbeens and wannabees
God. Here we go again. I hope he enjoys the bovril and pies in the stands. Thats where Fergus Khan will put him
we dont really no till we here him say it, then we can judge him , and he he decides to leave well good for him , united will still go on winning with out him , a player doesnt make the team , a team makes the player
i hope he goes!!!! he wont be wellcome at united now... all the fans will jus booooo him... tbh i jus fink e wants the attention.. with the money you could buy at least 3 world class players... id say quresma, robinho and berbatov!!!! if nt jus let him rot in the reserves!!!
It's definitely not the end of the world, but no club on the planet would want to lose one of the two best players alive. I don't blame the fans for complaining.
At this point I am starting to think to myself if Madrid want this selfish, ungrateful douche so bad they can have him. I don't pity him one bit, this club is where he became a star and they pay him ridiculous amounts of money.
