Lebanon and Serbia have become full members of the Rugby League European Federation.
They were given the nod at the Federation's annual meeting to join England, France, Ireland, Scotland and Wales at Europe's top table.
RLEF chairman Richard Lewis said: "The sustained growth and progress of both Lebanon and Serbia rugby league reflects very well indeed on all those people who have worked so hard to develop the sport in those countries, sometimes against a difficult backdrop."
Lebanon and Serbia are vying with Russia and Italy for one of the vacant spots in the 2013 World Cup.
