Carling Cup - United handed Tottenham test

Holders Manchester United have been handed a home tie with Tottenham in the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup.

The Red Devils secured Carling Cup glory with victory over Spurs in last season's final and they will once again have to see off Harry Redknapp's men.

Arsenal's youngsters beat Liverpool in the previous round at the Emirates Stadium, but they will be on the road in the last eight having been pulled out alongside Manchester City.

Chelsea were hugely impressive in disposing of Bolton in midweek and their reward is a trip to Blackburn.

Portsmouth have put their league worries to one side in the Carling Cup and they have secured another home tie, this time against Aston Villa
