Great Britain head coach Dragan Djukic has insisted he cannot fault his players' performance despite watching them slip to defeat to Belgium in the Four Nations Tournament in Luxembourg.
Djukic had watched his side grind out a 32-32 draw with Luxembourg on Thursday but Great Britain enjoyed no such luck against Belgium as they slipped to a narrow 25-23 defeat.
Steven Larsson led the scoring for Great Britain with eight goals, while Robin Garnham and Ciaran Williams chipped in with four and three apiece.
Great Britain also found themselves 13-12 to the good at the half-time interval and while Belgium rallied to clinch victory, Djukic is convinced the signs for the future are positive.
I was very pleased with our performance, said Djukic afterwards. It was the first time we have played two games in two days and we have a third to follow on Saturday.
We played very good defence and we were on the level with Belgium for much of the game.
We missed chances to score which would have made all the difference, but after two games we could very easily have had four points, but we have to be happy with our performances.
I'm very satisfied with the boys because they fought hard for each other which is good to see.
After their games against Luxembourg and Belgium, Great Britain now go on to play French club team Mulhouse, who came into the competition at the last moment in place of Bulgaria.
Mulhouse are a very good team, added Djukic. We have seen them play already in this competition and they're good.
They play a 5-1 style defence, and it will be good for us because we've already played against 6-0 and 3-2-1, so it will be good experience.
