Campbell unlikely to take on Stoke

Mon 31 Dec, 11:45 AM

Fraizer Campbell is set miss Hull's New Year's Day trip to Stoke after picking up an hamstring injury in the win over Sheffield Wednesday. The 20-year-old striker, who last week agreed to extend his loan spell from Manchester United until the end of the season, is unlikely to feature at the Britannia Stadium.

Veteran frontman Dean Windass replaced Campbell against the Owls and scored the winner with a superb free-kick, so he will be expecting to start.

Sam Ricketts has been feeling his hamstring over the Christmas period, but he got through 90 minutes on Sunday and should be fit again.

Sunday's victory extended Hull's unbeaten run to four games and lifted them up to eighth in the Championship.
