Celtic visit Barcelona in the Champions League tonight, and although they have made a good start I cannot see them troubling Barca because there is too much of a technical difference between the sides.
Celtic produced a superb performance to beat a Spartak Moscow side that gave Barcelona some problems.
They have an advantage in that they no longer have Rangers to worry about at home, so they can focus their energy on the Champions League and arrive fresh.
Even if there is a significant margin between Barca and Celtic, the exceptional thing about football is that anything can happen so you always have a chance.
Also tonight, Chelsea face Shakhtar, who are definitely in contention after their draw away to Juventus. They have technical quality and an experienced coach. They are especially impressive at home so Chelsea could have a difficult night.
Schalke will present a tough challenge for Arsenal on Wednesday. They have good players. They signed Roman Neustaedter, and also have promising young players like Julian Draxler. Plus they have dangerous forwards like Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Jefferson Farfan.
Their defence is rather solid, especially Joel Matip. In any case, you never win easily in the Champions League and you can always find yourself in a corner against Germans.
Perhaps the game of the week sees Borussia Dortmund visit Real Madrid. The Bundesliga champions are one of the best teams in Europe and were extremely convincing away to Manchester City.
They play at a great technical and with a good tempo, and have a real chance of going through from the toughest group in the competition.
We played them last year, and even though they were eliminated by Marseille, we could already see their potential.
