Vilanova making his own mark at Barca

Tito Vilanova wants to innovate at Barcelona. He wants to bring his own approach, which I understand perfectly.

It appears that he had already a large influence during Pep Guardiola's reign, but now he is in charge and is bringing his own personality to the team.

At the moment he has had a very good start in the league. In spite of that I believe that the new players are not completely on the level of the old ones.

Barca had, for a few years, players who had the talent, the intelligence, the desire to win and humility.

Perhaps even in a large club like Barcelona that is very rare, and it will be necessary to be patient before finding all that again.

It will be hard for Benfica, but in the Estadio da Luz it is always difficult too. The Portuguese can pose problems against the Spanish.

But nevertheless I think that Benfica, in losing Axel Witsel and Javi Garcia, lost the heart of their midfield and that will hurt them.

Manchester United play Cluj tonight and they had some difficulty against Galatasaray in their opening game. They were not completely convincing, but they won.

Manchester United often have problems at the start of the Champions League. Perhaps they have such a habit of doing well that they have issues in beginning the competition because they know that they will probably go to the end.

Last year this attitude cost them but this year I think we will see a more impressive United side in the knockout stages.
