Galatasaray supporters are famous throughout the world of football for their levels of passion, so it's no big surprise that things boil over from time to time in the form of a pitch invasion.
But the crowd trouble during the clash with arch-rivals Beskitas at the weekend saw the strangest pitch invasions Early Doors has ever seen.
It was an astonishing seven minutes into injury time and Galatasaray were winning 2-1 - thanks to a brace from Didier Drogba - when the club's marquee summer signing Felipe Melo was given his marching orders for a tackle that, while two-footed, looked to have got the ball cleanly.
The player himself was outraged - but his fury had nothing on that of the fans, who charged onto the pitch to demonstrate with anything they could get their hands on - including dozens of plastic garden chairs that had been dotted around the pitch
As the trouble began the referee ordered the players from the pitch - and as they did so, a fan threw a bottle at Melo. Thankfully it was only a plastic water bottle, which Melo in any case calmly batted away with his hand.
