Remember when Tottenham fans were gloating about their superb summer transfer business and how Andre Villas-Boas had taken them to the next level?
No – us neither.
And of course when something is going wrong there is only one thing you can do: romantically reminisce about days when things kinda worked – remembering all the good while conveniently forgetting the bad.
A lot of Tottenham fans seemed pretty happy when Harry Redknapp was let go but now it seems there is a swell of support for his return after their 6-0 thumping at Manchester City. As for poor old AVB? He should probably look away now.
Bring back Harry! #avbhasntgotaclue

Bring back harry least we were exciting to watch. Boring AVB — Ryan Dear (@rdear88) November 24, 2013
Cannot imagine the kind of abuse Harry Redknapp would have got on here if he'd made this many mistakes early in a season.
— Darren Richman (@darrenrichman) November 24, 2013
Harry Redknapp was sacked for spending less and achieving more than AVB. And people try to say Levy is a genius. — Ben Hart (@BenlfcHart) November 24, 2013
All that money gone to waste. Spurs are nothing without bale. Harry redknapp put them on the map then bounced.
— Dexter Hercules (@dhercs) November 24, 2013
Why the problems at Tottenham? AVB ripped to pieces Harry Redknapp's great team two years ago. Modric, Van der Vaart, Parker, Bale, Caulker — H|K (@HafizKoon) November 24, 2013
Yes, that's the same Steven Caulker who Redknapp used just once (in the League Cup, natch) and sent on loan to Yeovil. And Bristol City. And Swansea.
Villas-Boas can at least be thankful it is Daniel Levy in charge at the club and not one of Tottenham's former chairmen otherwise it could be a case of 'You're fired'.
2 things I have been saying all season. Wenger best manager in PL and AVB is useless. FACT
— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) November 24, 2013
And the old jokes are already being rehashed.
AVB's wife tried to wake him up.. She said: "Wake up honey, it's 7!" AVB: "WTF, they scored another one?!?!?!" — Felix Kilonzo (@starkolix) November 24, 2013
It could be worse though - AVB is at least likely to be given a chance to redeem himself. You suspect Joe Allen may not be as lucky. His Liverpool career could be over if the reaction of Reds' fans to his miss in the Merseyside derby is anything to go by.

Joe Allen won't sleep tonight. Mostly because I'll be stood at the foot of his bed swearing at him through gritted teeth. — Liam Tomkins (@liam_tomkins) November 23, 2013
Ayy remember when Joe Allen scored that goal to make it 3-1 in the derby? No, me neither.

Arsenal fans meanwhile are already dirtying Twitter with excessive use of the 'C-word' - No, not that one, THIS ONE...
"ARSENAL ARE EPL CHAMPIONS." #JustPracticing
— Chulumanco Mchiza (@Chulz_Mc) November 24, 2013
Someday, we will win the champions league in a classy way. The arsenal way.

Good win for Chelsea at West Ham but again it was their midfielders getting the goals. If only they had a couple of strikers who could score?
So the 2 Chelsea outcasts decide to light up Merseyside. Lukaku & Sturridge! Now we are stuck with 70yr old Eto'o and Adele's sister, Torres — Kwame Sakyiamah (@lexisbill) November 23, 2013
Sturridge and Lukaku have 16 goals between them this season. Torres has 1. There's been some superb decision making going on at Chelsea.

Finally, Crystal Palace fans got to celebrate a rare away win at Hull but the home fans weren't convinced they were in town for the three points.
Well done Hull on being named British City of Culture for 2017 and join us again for more Twitter nonsense next week.
