Fantasy Football chat

The Fantasist stopped by once again with his tips ahead of the Premier League action.

Are there any players you should be jettisoning from your squad, or any bargains you should be picking up?

Which players might rack up the points this weekend and put you in a stronger position?

Relive the chat to find out.

I've looked for news on Wes Brown on the BBC and Sunderland site but can't find any mention apart from him going off before the half hour. I was hoping the injury report would help me before the deadline but it hasn't shown up. The Fantasist obviously had too good a New Year to go back to work.

About Fantasy Football

The Fantasist is an expert, no, a guru, in all things Fantasy Football. It will dispense its wisdom throughout the season, unravelling the great mysteries of our time. Conundrums like "Aaron Hughes or Stephen Warnock?' and 'Where does Matty Taylor get all those points from?' During the barren summer months, The Fantasist satisfies its gaming needs by losing a small fortune at its local bingo hall. Consequently, it has a lot riding on Eurosport-Yahoo!'s £5 entry, winner-takes-all office league this season.

    Over and out for Pep

It's a good time to be a Real Madrid fan. Jose Mourinho has signed an extension which will contract him to the Bernabeu until 2016. Sir Alex Ferguson might think about moving on by then.  Having displaced Barca as Spanish … Continue reading → More »

Coaching or TV? Neville must choose

Gary Neville's appointment to Roy Hodgson's England coaching staff surprised me, because I'm not sure he can combine the job with his punditry for Sky. If he is working as a link between the squad and the manager, he needs … Continue reading → More »
