    Injury Report: Gameweek 11

There are a whole host of injured Manchester United players while struggling Chelsea come under the microscope ahead of Fantasy gameweek 11.

United went from being one of the fittest squads leading into the 1-0 win at Everton, to one of the most ravaged as Tom Cleverley, Chris Smalling, Ashley Young and Ryan Giggs all picked up injuries when they would otherwise have been expected to feature as boss Sir Alex Ferguson rolls in 25 years in charge against Sunderland.

That will see Antonio Valencia - who scored in the Champions League win over Otelul Galati - and Nani likely to start, while in defence Rio Ferdinand could press for a Premier League recall after his decent performance against the Romanians.

Nemanja Vidic returns from suspension for United, while Sunderland will start Keiren Westwood after Simon Mignolet suffered a nasty nose and eye break in the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are on a poor run of sorts and will have to do without Didier Drogba for the trip to struggling but feisty Blackburn, who is both suspended and recuperating from an arm operation; John Obi Mikel is also set to miss out, as is midfield partner Michael Essien.

John Terry could return after missing out against Genk, but his ongoing problems on and off the pitch could see him rested.

For Manchester City, meanwhile, skipper Vincent Kompany is suspended for his sending off in the win against Wolves, as are Wigan defender Gary Caldwell and Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini, both for picking up five yellow cards.

    About Fantasy Football

The Fantasist is an expert, no, a guru, in all things Fantasy Football. It will dispense its wisdom throughout the season, unravelling the great mysteries of our time. Conundrums like "Aaron Hughes or Stephen Warnock?' and 'Where does Matty Taylor get all those points from?' During the barren summer months, The Fantasist satisfies its gaming needs by losing a small fortune at its local bingo hall. Consequently, it has a lot riding on Eurosport-Yahoo!'s £5 entry, winner-takes-all office league this season.
