    Injury Report: Gameweek 24

Bodde being stretchered offSwansea's Dutch midfielder Ferrie Bodde suffered a knee injury in a reserve game against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Bodde has flown home to Holland to consult a surgeon about the right knee injury he suffered in a challenge after just two minutes of the game at Parc y Scarlets.

The good news for Bodde is the injury is not to the same knee which required two operations and saw him miss almost three years of action.

Sunderland defender Wes Brown is likely to be sidelined for eight weeks by his knee injury.

The former Manchester United man damaged a knee during Sunday's 1-1 FA Cup fourth round draw with Middlesbrough, and it was at first feared that his season could be over. However, a scan has revealed that the damage may not be as extensive as was first thought.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking forward to having his squad strengthened by the return of injured players as he looks to fight battles on three fronts.

Wednesday night's goalless draw at Bolton was a missed opportunity to close the gap on fourth-placed Chelsea, but on the positive side it ended a run of three defeats and also saw Bacary Sagna make his first start in four months after a broken leg.

With Mikel Arteta also starting for the first time in a month and left-back Kieran Gibbs close to a return after groin surgery Wenger believes his squad will be stronger to tackle the challenges of the Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.

New Tottenham Hotspur signing Ryan Nelsen has completed his move to the London club and gone straight on to their injury list. The New Zealand centre-back has played just 90 minutes of football this season before succumbing to an ankle injury last August.

And Liverpool will welcome back striker Luis Suarez for Monday home game against Tottenham after his eight-match suspension has finally ended.
