    Injury Report: Gameweek 28

Tottenham's hopes of securing a top-four finish have been hit by the news that defender Michael Dawson is unlikely to play any further part this season.

The defender suffered serious ankle and knee injuries in the club's 3-1 win over Stevenage on Wednesday night and Harry Redknapp says it will be a "miracle" if he takes the field again before the end of the campaign.

Tottenham are also without Tom Huddlestone for their trip to Everton on Saturday evening, although the home side are deprived of Steven Pienaar due to the conditions of his loan from Spurs.

Chelsea however could be boosted by the return of a defender as John Terry returned to the bench for the FA Cup win over Birmingham City in midweek.

Arsenal, who host Newcastle on Monday night, have major problems in midfield and if Mikel Arteta does not shake off a knock then Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be forced to reprise his central midfield role again having excelled against Milan.

Sunderland host Liverpool on Saturday but are without Lee Cattermole and Stephane Sessegnon after both players saw red in the derby against Newcastle last weekend.

    About Fantasy Football

The Fantasist is an expert, no, a guru, in all things Fantasy Football. It will dispense its wisdom throughout the season, unravelling the great mysteries of our time. Conundrums like "Aaron Hughes or Stephen Warnock?' and 'Where does Matty Taylor get all those points from?' During the barren summer months, The Fantasist satisfies its gaming needs by losing a small fortune at its local bingo hall. Consequently, it has a lot riding on Eurosport-Yahoo!'s £5 entry, winner-takes-all office league this season.
