    Matchday review: Gameweek 10

First of all, an important message from the league office

Fantasy Football will no longer be including midweek games in the same game week as weekend games. Midweek games on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th November will now be counted separately.

Therefore you have the option to make separate transfer choices for these midweek games. The transfer window for midweek games is open from midday Saturday 6th November until Tuesday 9th November at 7pm.

After 7pm on Tuesday 9th November you will then be able to make changes for the following weekend's games on the 13th/14th November.

Yikes. What a miserable week at Fantasist central.

There may have been a shortage of goals in this week's
Premier League games, but The Fantasist did its level best to avoid what action
there was in its team selection.

Buoyed by last week's success, it made just two changed to
the side - bringing in Andrei Arshavin and Carlos Salcido.

And thank goodness for Salcido, whose score of 20.5 helped
    stave off a complete meltdown.

Elsewhere, there were no goals, one assist and a top score
of just seven from Samir Nasri.

What's more, only nine players saw action.

Chris Kirkland was intentional - having realised it was
quite pleased to get no score from the 1.00-priced goalkeeper last week, The
Fantasist opted for more of the same even though Kirkland
    was dropped by Wigan

But it hadn't banked on Jose Bosingwa losing his place
following Alex's return from injury for Chelsea.

To make matters worse, some popular Fantasy picks came up
with the goods - not least hat-trick man Kevin Nolan (33.5 points) and Nani (26
points), who is now the joint-top scorer in the game this season with Didier
    Drogba.

    About Fantasy Football

The Fantasist is an expert, no, a guru, in all things Fantasy Football. It will dispense its wisdom throughout the season, unravelling the great mysteries of our time. Conundrums like "Aaron Hughes or Stephen Warnock?' and 'Where does Matty Taylor get all those points from?' During the barren summer months, The Fantasist satisfies its gaming needs by losing a small fortune at its local bingo hall. Consequently, it has a lot riding on Eurosport-Yahoo!'s £5 entry, winner-takes-all office league this season.
