
The conditioning of the course at the US PGA Championship is as good as I've ever seen.
The fairways are like carpets and the ball sits up nicely on them.
The greens are fast and true. They are certainly quick
and being under the hole is important.
The fairway bunkers are really tough to hit out of. The
sand is soft and the ball sits down making it very hard to get a good contact. I
guess they are hazards though!
I thought the course was going to suit the long hitter,
but the PGA of America have varied the tees, taking away that obvious
advantage. It allows you the chance to scramble for your
