    Ben Ainslie: History means nothing

Ben Ainslie says his three Olympic gold medals will count for nothing when the 2012 Games take place in London.

In an interview conducted exclusively for Eurosport, UPS London 2012 ambassador Ainslie told Steve Ryder that his past exploits will count for nothing.

Ainslie - who won Olympic gold at Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004 and Beijing in 2008 - believes that his past successes will not be enough to guarantee gold in London.

While he admits to sensing the pressure and expectation on his shoulders, Ainslie believes he must simply focus on the event itself and performing to his best.
