Where to see the Royal Family at the Olympics

Zara Phillips, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, will compete in equestrian events, but she's far from the only member of the royal family who will make appearances at the Games over the next few weeks.

Queen Elizabeth will preside over the Opening Ceremony, and will be joined by Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and his wife Kate, and Prince Harry. There is no word on what exactly presiding over the ceremony means, but it hopefully will involve the Queen dancing with the Spice Girls.

William, Kate and Harry are also scheduled to attend several competitions during the 16 days of the Olympics' first return to England since 1948. Kate, who attended many tennis matches at Wimbledon, will be around for gymnastics and synchronized swimming events.

All three of the younger royals will attend several equestrian events. William will watch the British team play football, while Harry will check out beach volleyball. Prince Harry's schedule will disappoint American hurdler Lolo Jones, who tweeted she was "heartbroken" at the rumor Harry was off the market.
