Puck Daddy’s 2015 NHL Trade Deadline Live Blog, Hour 1

10:50 a.m. ET: Minor deal involving Tim Murray and the Sabres: pending RFA winger Bryan Flynn heads to the Montreal Canadiens for a fifth-round pick, according to Bob McKenzie.

Back on the Phaneuf front, The Hockey News' Ken Campbell reports that Brendan Smith may be a sticking point in any deal involving the Red Wings.

10:35 a.m. ET: DRINK!

10:30 a.m. ET: Dion Phaneuf's name is out there as talk has the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs in conversations about a swap. Stephen Weiss and Jakub Kindl are a couple of names out there that may be part of a package. According to Renaud Lavoie, Phaneuf has a list of 12 teams he would accept a trade to.

Speaking of the Maple Leafs, Ron Wilson sighting!

10:17 a.m. ET: The Buffalo Sabres have 13 players set to become unrestricted or restricted free agents this summer. The most-rumored name has been Chris Stewart, who's been talked about being trade seemingly all season. GM Tim Murray tells Kevin Sylvester that he hasn't received many phone calls regarding his rental players, which means Stewart should fire his hype man.

10:10 a.m. ET: The Arizona Coyotes are nearly complete with their dumping of players and GM Don Maloney still has one big asset to move: Zbynek Michalek. And after a 6-5 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday night, Doug Armstrong appears to be inching closer to bringing on Michalek. According to Bob McKenzie, while Michalek is out with a concussion, the Blues are willing to send a conditional pick or two and maybe a prospect Arizona's way to make a deal work.

10 a.m. ET: No, the Los Angeles Kings did not trade Slava Voynov to the Philadelphia Flyers. That was the rumor via Russian journalist Igor Eronko, citing an R-Sport report. Thankfully, the insiders on this side of pond quickly squashed what would have likely been the day’s leading story. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Kings and Flyers make a deal given their history and the fact that Philadelphia GM Ron Hextall came from LA, but this move would be bad all-around.
