
Danny Cipriani produced a man-of-the-match display in Sale's 36-17 victory over Scarlets in the LV=Cup at the weekend.
It was ironic that the 25-year-old produced his eye-catching performance on the eve of the 2013 Six Nations, having been unsurprisingly omitted from the Red Rose squad by Stuart Lancaster.
However, it appears Cipriani may be turning a corner as he scored a try, four penalties and two conversions in a credible 21-point haul against the Welsh side to help Sale go top of their LV=Cup group - in stark contrast to the Aviva Premiership fortunes.
