Celtic are the only British club to be named in the top 10 of the greatest supports in world football, according to a respected French football magazine.
So Foot says only Boca Juniors of Argentina and Germany's Borussia Dortmund are ahead of the Glasgow club's fans, who are renowned throughout Europe for their passionate support, sense of fair play and respect for opposition clubs during their travels around Europe in the Champions League.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter described Celtic's supporters as "marvellous" after visiting Celtic Park to award them the FIFA fair play award for their friendly behaviour when over 80,000 visited Seville for the 2003 UEFA Cup final.
Celtic Park has received numerous compliments for its unique atmosphere from various superstars in world football with Andres Iniesta of Barcelona recently describing Celtic fans as the best in the world.
