Claudio Pizarro's four-goal haul for Bayern Munich has crowned him talisman of the latest European Team of the Week.
After annihilating Hamburg 9-2 to place one hand on the Bundesliga trophy, Bayern Munich are unsurprisingly the only European club to bag two slots in the starting XI -compiled via stats from Opta - with Pizarro joined by two-goal accomplice Arjen Robben.
After having six representatives a fortnight ago, however, the Premier League has only one this time around: Manchester City left-back Gael Clichy, who entered a near-flawless performance against Newcastle at both ends of the pitch, notching an assist in the process.
Behind four-goal Pizarro are two other hat-trick heroes from the weekend: Blerim Dzemaili scored three from midfield for Napoli in a thriller at Torino, while FK Krasnodar striker Wanderson completes a seven-goal strike ETOTW partnership for his star performance against Anzhi - and only the woodwork prevented him matching Pizarro's tally.
Bruno Alves ensured Russia had two entries from the weekend after putting in a monster shift at the back for Zenit St Petersburg against Terek Grozny and getting on the scoresheet to boot.
