England's star players might have a reputation for being prima donnas but that's not an accusation you could ever level at their opponents on Tuesday night, Germany.
Remarkably, in an age when millionaire footballers are flown round the globe in private jets and driven around by chauffeurs, Germany coach Joachim Loew took his squad on the tube on Monday.
Bemused commuters spotted Loew and his players as they jumped on the underground to make their way up to Wembley for a training session at the national stadium.
Let's just hope the refreshingly down-to-earth Germans didn't stand on the left side of the escalator - a pet peeve of furious London commuters...
The German team's official Twitter account posted the best photo of the tube trip.

Tube traveller Parmjit Dhanda also captured a shot of Loew on his way to hop on a train.
Football Association employee James Marshall grabbed some nice shots of the Germany team as they minded their own business.
