Restaurant SoLIta (meaning ‘South of Little Italy) in Manchester’s trendy Northern Quarter has replaced Monterrey Jack cheese with Monterrey ‘Jock’, has deep-fried haggis on top of the patty, is garnished with Ayrshire bacon and smothered in whisky and Irn Bru sauce.
Needless to say, there is no lettuce in this particular burger.
"It’s our biggest ever selling special," restaurant owner Franco Sotgiu told Eurosport-Yahoo!
"Maybe we capitalised on the zeitgeist, but it’s actually a really nice burger."
The sandwich, which also comes with chips, would set you back £12.60.
Other themed burgers at SoLIta include the Big Manc, which is normally their best seller.
Unfortunately Tramlines is nowhere near Manchester today, but if you’re in the area it wouldn’t hurt to have a taste.
