Michael Owen's Stoke City team-mates gave him a slightly disturbing send-off ahead of his final home game before retirement.
The former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United striker found his car on Sunday morning utterly caked in flour and eggs - and immediately vowed via Twitter to get back at the culprits.
"It's a long week lads. Revenge is in the air!" Owen tweeted, adding that he believed Dean Whitehead, Glenn Whelan and Rob Huth were the most likely to have done it.
